Networking Solutions Builds a Highly Available Wired Network

Martin Brothers came to Networking Solutions to build a Highly Available multisite network that is self-healing and completely redundant to safeguard the reliability and uptime of their critical applications and services.

Challenge:
Martin Brothers is one of the Midwest Largest foodservice distribution companies with multiple locations and offsite data storage.  Network Infrastructure failure has impacted hundreds of employees and delayed their entire operation.  Implementation and future maintenance cannot result in degraded performance or network outages.

Solution:
To provide the extraordinary reliability and high availability that Martin Brothers requires, we implemented Layer 3 Cisco Catalyst Switches with Enhanced IOS.   This solution was deployed at each location with a fiber ring to all buildings and to their Data Center.  Multiple switches run HSRP with virtual gateways as well as QoS and multiple routed VLANS for management, wireless, voice and data.  The implementation and testing of this solution was done in several phases, most during holidays and afterhours.
